Notice to Clients PNG CONTAINER DETENTION POLICY EXPORT CARGO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
ANL has undertaken a review of its export detention policy applicable to Papua New Guinea for export shipments and advises our PNG customers that effective from 1st July 2016 it will be applied for General ( GP ) containers along with special equipment i.e Flat Racks, Open Tops and Reefer units.
The number of free days allowed will be 30 days from date of release for dry and special general equipment and 21 days for reefer equipment thereafter detention will be applied thereafter.

Payment Terms
Any queries relating to container detention charges must be raised in writing by the consignee/shipper within 7 calendar days of invoicing.
Payment of Outstanding Detention Charges all container detention charges must be paid within 30 calendar days of invoicing.
