OCEANIA - Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) & Low Sulfur Surcharge (LSS) changed
Effective January 1, 2018, the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) from the United States and Canada, from both West and East Coasts to Australia and New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti and Papua New Guinea destinations will adjust to US $522/20’ and US $1,044/40’.
The Low Sulfur Surcharge (LSS) will increase to US $16/20’ and US $32/40’.
As a reminder, the new BAF and LSS levels are applicable from date of cargo receipt.
ANL will continue to monitor bunker fuel costs each quarter, adjusting BAF and LSS on a cost recovery basis.
